We all know the feeling of placing an order and waiting for the product to arrive. When the parcel finally arrives and you can open it up, it’s exciting, right?

But there is always the chance of opening up the parcel and discovering that it’s damaged or not what you ordered.

When that happens, it is both disappointing and frustrating.

You now have a product you can’t use, plus you have the hassle of placing a warranty order.

While we wish it didn’t happen, you may receive cabinet doors that aren’t in perfect condition. Every time this occurs, you have to submit a warranty order for cabinet doors.

We understand that your time is valuable. So, our team has developed two simple methods to make submitting a warranty order less work for you.

In this article, you will discover a step-by-step process for submitting a warranty order for both options. After reading this article, you will know what information our team needs to process your warranty order and how to get that information to us.

Option 1: Submit a warranty order online

The first method we will look at utilizes our online ordering software.

You need access to your customer account to submit a warranty order online. Don’t have access? Ask our team to set up your customer account so you can sign in.

Step 1: Sign in

Sign in to your customer account on our online ordering system.

Step 2: Find the original order

Search for your original order using the search bar at the top right of the page. You can search for the order number on your invoice or the job name or number you provided.

Step 3: Find the piece(s) you need replaced

Open the order up and ensure the piece you need to have replaced under warranty is on that order.

If you are unable to find the correct item, the piece may be on another order. Search again, and see if multiple orders have that reference number or name.

If you are still unable to find the correct size, the piece may have been ordered wrong originally. If that’s the case, you can either place a new order for the correct size or continue with the following steps.

Step 4: Request a remake

Click ‘Request a Remake’ at the bottom right-hand side of the page. This will load a new page.

Step 5: Select the piece(s) that need replaced

Find the piece you need to have replaced, and enter the quantity. Then, tell us why you need it remade in the ‘Reason for remake’ box.

If you need a piece that is incorrect on the original order, enter the correct dimensions and other details in this box so our team knows what you require.

If you need multiple pieces remade from the same order, continue entering the quantity and reason for remake for each item. Once you have selected all the items that you need us to replace, move on to the next step.

Step 6: Generate the remake order

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and select ‘Submit remake order’. This will load a new page showing only the sizes you selected.

Step 7: Review the remake order

Double-check the order to ensure you selected all the correct quantities and sizes. You should also make sure the shipping address is correct.

If everything is correct, move on to step 8.

If there is a mistake in the sizes you have selected, you can choose ‘Cancel Order’ at the bottom right-hand side of the page and start over. Or, send our team an email explaining the mistake and we will correct it for you.

Step 8: Save (submit) the remake order

At the bottom right-hand side of the page, click ‘Save’. This will submit the remake order to our team for review.

Option 2: Email or phone in

The second option is to either send us an email or call in with the following information:

  1. The original order number or job name
  2. The ID number of the original piece
  3. The size
  4. The reason you need it replaced
  5. Any additional information, like a requested ship date or a new shipping address

On the right, you can see an example of a warranty request email.

And that’s it! Two easy, stress-free ways to order warranty cabinet doors.

What happens after you order warranty cabinet doors?

Once you have submitted your remake request using either of these methods, our team takes over. If we have any questions about the reason for replacing the piece, we will contact you for more information.

Our team will notify you if the remake order you have submitted is not covered under warranty. This can occur if the order is over the 1-year warranty period or if the original piece was not covered under warranty.

In most cases though, we process warranty orders immediately without any question and ship them to you as soon as possible.

Our team aims to ship replacement orders within five business days of receiving the replacement request. This lead time can change depending on the door style or if you ordered finished doors.

As soon as the remake order is scheduled for production, you will receive a notification email that includes the date your order will ship from our facility.
